The academic discipline of history is the account of cultural change according to Harari's research.Ģ. Harari's work situates its account of human history within a framework provided by the natural sciences, particularly evolutionary biology: he sees biology as setting the limits of possibility for human activity and sees culture as shaping what happens within those bounds. Yuval Noah Harari’s books focus on macro-historical questions such as: What is the relationship between history and biology? What is the essential difference between Homo Sapiens and other animals? Is there justice in history? Does history have a direction? and many such concepts.ġ. He originally specialized in world history, medieval history, and military history. He is currently a lecturer at the Department of history, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
